Yael Yuzon Confronts Dingdong Dantes Over Karylle

Spongecola vocalist Yael Yuzon confronted actor Dingdong Dantes over Karylle. Not the real ones though because it happened on the Kalokalike segment of ABS-CBN noontime show It's Showtime.

Kalokalike Level up Thursday episode saw Raven Portuguez, impersonating Yael Yuzon and Carlos Miguel Joaquin, Dingdong Dantes kalokalike competing not only for the Kalokalike title but also for host Karylle. Dingdong danced with Karylle during his performance and impressed the host by giving her a rose, which earned the ire of Yael kalokalike.

The Dingdong Dantes kalokalike, however, beat Yael kalokalike and won over the judges. He will be joining the finals on June 1. Watch the video below:

PGT Season 4 Semifinals Week 2 | Who Will Complete the List of Grand Finalists?

Last week, three acts advanced to the grand finals of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 4—Acoustic trio MP3 Band, black light performers Zilent Overload and YouTube sensation Roel Manlangit. This marked the very first time in PGT history that the judges chose two semifinal acts to enter the finals.

MP3 Band garnered the highest percentage of combined online and text votes with 25.69%, which automatically secured their grand finalist slot. Zilent Overload of Pasig City, on the other hand, was unanimously chosen by the Big Three judges while Roel Manlangit of Bukidnon managed to get the votes of judges Kris Aquino and Freddie “FMG” Garcia. Ai Ai Delas Alas, meanwhile, voted for flairtending teen Chaeremon Basa 

This week, the remaining three grand finalist slots will be filled. Who among break dancers D’ Intensity Breakers, metal ring dancer Frankendal Fabroa, folk dancers Bughaw Folkloric Dance Group, power vocalists The Miss Tres, 24-year-old siren Eumee Lyn Capile, and car drifters Lateral Drift Productions will make the cut?

Well-acclaimed actresses Desiree del Valle and Andi Eigenmann will topbill “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (May 25) as they take on the roles of cousins Jane (Desiree) and Lyka (Andi). 

From being close buddies, the cousins’ relationship started to change when Jane discovered that Lyka was working as an escort girl. Despite their disagreements, Jane did everything to help Lyka choose the right path. However, Lyka’s life worsened even more as she became addicted to drugs and got impregnated by a family man. Can Jane still find it in her heart to give Lyka a second chance? Or will she finally give up on her?

Elmo Magalona ft Francis M – Kaleidoscope World Forevermore Music Video, Lyrics

This is epic! Master rapper, the late Francis Magalona appeared on a music video with son Elmo Magalona for Kaleidoscope World ForeverMore, a new take on Francis M's hit Kaleidoscope World. It seemed Elmo did time-travel to the actual scenes in the music video to jam with his father.

The Kaleidoscope World Forever More was unveiled at the FM Forevermore event held on May 23. It was a dream come true for the Magalonas to have one of them perform with the master rapper. Francis M's wife Pia Magalona said that the family always feel the support of fans and the music video is a gift for everyone. During the launch, the terms FM Forevermore trended on Twitter.

Boy Abunda Gives Marriage Advice to Angel and Vhong in 'Toda Max' (May 25)

Preparations for the wedding of the characters of Angel Locsin (Isabel) and Vhong Navarro (Justin) in the hit sitcom “Toda Max” are now underway. But before anything else, Isabel and Justin must undergo counseling to ensure that they are ready for marriage.

Derek Ramsay on Sam Milby: "He is gay"

Did Derek Ramsay call Sam Milby gay?

Reports about Derek Ramsay calling Sam Milby gay surfaced over the weekend and became a topic on the DZMM radio show Mismo hosted by Jobert Sucaldito and Ahwel Paz. According to Jobert, a source told him that Derek was trying to impress a young singer-actress. When he found out that the girl is close to Sam, Derek reportedly asked the girl, "Why Sam? He is gay."

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Sam Milby said that Derek already phoned him to clarify the issue. Sam added that he knew Derek won't say something like that to him since he's a good friend.

"Siya ang tumawag sa akin. When he was explaining to me, natuwa ako kasi I know he wouldn’t say anything like that. Derek, I’ve known him for a long time. He knows me, he knows what I am, he knows what I’m not so I know he wouldn’t say anything like that," he said.

"Even if he didn’t call me and I heard about it first, I wouldn’t have believed na he will say something like that. I know Derek. I know Derek is one of those guys who will be there for me. He’s a good friend," Sam added.

When asked where the gay issue came from, Sam said: "I have no idea. I can’t think of anybody who can say that. Ganun talaga sa showbiz. You have issues that come out. Some of these you just have to laugh at kasi ganun talaga sa showbiz."

Meanwhile, Derek denied that he called Sam gay via a direct message on PEP. "It’s not true. Jobert Sucaldito apologized about this already. Kaibigan ko si Sam and we spoke about it," affirming that he already has spoken with Sam about the issue. "There is no truth to this," the Kapatid star added.

Jobert Sucaldito said that Derek also personally texted him to deny the story.

Kim-Maja Reconciliation in 'Ina Kapatid Anak' Conquers Primetime

Celyn (Kim Chiu) and Margaux (Maja Salvador) have finally patched their differences in ABS-CBN’s no. 1 family drama series “Ina Kapatid Anak.”

The episode wherein Margaux tearfully asked for her sister’s forgiveness conquered primetime with a national TV rating of 32.5% according to Kantar Media national TV ratings. It beat two rival programs on GMA, namely, “Indio” which only got 18.3% and “Mundo Mo’y Akin” with only 16%. 

Meanwhile, will Margaux and Celyn’s reconciliation end the conflict between their mothers, Teresa (Cherry Pie Picache) and Beatrice (Janice de Belen)? With the renewed friendship of Celyn and Margaux, will Emilio (John Regala) still succeed in his plan to destroy their family?

Lee Min Ho Manila Concert 2013 Live Tour (July 6) | Ticket Details and Prices

Korean superstar Lee Min Ho is set to return in Manila, Philippines for a one-night only concert tour this July 6 at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena at 8 pm.

The said concert was produced by Wilbros Live and is part of Lee Min Ho's "My Everything Tour: Lee Min Ho Live" to promote his newly-released album "My Everything."

Lee Min Ho first visited Manila in November 2012 for a fun meet-and-greet organized by clothing brand Bench, which is endorsed by the Korean actor. The said event attracted thousands of Filipino fans who flocked Araneta Coliseum just to see Lee Min Ho.

Willie Revillame Not Renewing Contract with TV-5; 'Wowowillie' Ends October

Television host Willie Revillame decided not to renew his contract with TV-5 when it expires on October 15.   Willie announced his retirement on his show Wowowillie on Tuesday, May 22.

"Alam ninyo, may mga personal na rason na hindi ko na sasabihin sa inyo. Ako muna’y magpapahinga ng ilang buwan, ng isang taon o anuman, e, malalaman ninyo. Tatapusin ko na lang po ang kontrata ko sa TV5. Ang last day of my contract ay October 15. Maybe October 12 will be the last show ng Wowowillie," announced Willie.

"Ako ay sumulat na sa pamunuan ng TV5, ako po ay nagpaalam na - May 17. Actually po, sinagot na nila ako na I think tinatanggap nila yung aking pagpapaalam sa TV5," he added.

In the said letter, dated May 17, 2013 addressed to TV5 chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan and president and chief executive Atty. Ray V. Espinosa, which was published by The Philippine Star on May 22, Willie cited exhaustion for his decision to take a much-needed break from show business at the end of his contract.

Willie, in his letter said that the break will allow him to ponder whether to continue showbiz or just focus on his businesses, like the construction of a new hotel in Tagaytay and the soon-to-be-opening Wil Tower in Quezon City.

Meanwhile, TV-5 said they respect Willie’s decision in an official statement. "We respect the decision of Mr. Willie Revillame to retire upon the expiry of his contract with TV5. We wish him well in his new pursuits."

Willie, however, hinted that he will possibly appear in future shows after his break from showbiz.

"I Wil return," Willie told Ricky Lo when asked about his plans fro next year. He also said on-air "Kapag may nagsara na bintana, may magbubukas na pintuan. Basta mag-e-enjoy pa rin tayo."

Before Willie's announcement, a report published in popular blogsite said that TV-5 will not renew Willie's contract because the host was demanding for a Php 90 million talent fee per month. The report further added that upon learning that the network is not anymore renewing Willie's contract, the host immediately sent a resignation letter to make it appear that it was he who resigned way ahead.

Willie's camp, however, denied the report.
